CHURCH LIFE
We have a number of ministries for adults of all ages, including community groups that welcome all ages, monthly pizza and prayer, monthly fellowship lunches, and occasional special events.
Our men’s ministries include a men’s breakfast that meets periodically throughout the year, as well as Bible studies and other special events.
We have many opportunities to get involved in women’s ministries–including two Bible study options, a monthly crafting group, and various special events throughout the year.
We have an active college ministry with a variety of events throughout the week and sporadic special events.
The Bethel Youth Group (BYG) is very active and excited to welcome new members! The BYG meets twice a month in the evenings during the academic year, and often has monthly special events.
We have weekly opportunities for children to get involved in the life of the church: the 10:10 Catechism club, singing, and active Sunday school classes. In the summer, we offer a week long Nature Camp.
There are a variety of opportunities to get involved in outreach efforts at Bethel: College of DuPage outreach, Wheaton College ministry, the DuPage County fair, and more.
Our Goal
Bethel’s ministries are focused upon discipleship, fellowship, and outreach.
In discipleship, we train our members to be faithful followers of Christ by teaching them to observe all that Christ has commanded, to love God with all their heart, and to walk in holiness.
In fellowship, we nurture our mutual growth as the communion of saints through love, prayer, service, encouragement, fellowship, and gifts.
In outreach, we answer God’s call to love our neighbor, to testify to our hope in Christ, to be salt and light in the world, to partner with those who spread the gospel, and to pray to the Lord for his harvest.
