COMMUNITY GROUPS

Why community groups? These groups give us the opportunity to grow in our love for Christ and love for one another. They help us facilitate deeper relationships where we can encourage one another, pray for one another, build one another up, and stir one another up to love and good deeds (Heb. 10:24). They also give us another opportunity to talk about the things of God and study the Scriptures together.

Schneider & Engeltjes Community Group
Time: Varying Thursdays | 6:00 pm
Location: Winfield area

This small group meets on Thursday evenings once per month. We will focus on fellowship over a shared meal, with a time for prayer with one another. We hope to give all an opportunity to grow in our love for Christ and love for one another; encouraging, praying, and building one another up.

All ages are welcome; we have a place for children to sleep, play, or read.

Schuman & Schrock Community Group
Time: 2nd & 4th Thursday | 6:00 pm
Location: Wheaton area

This small group meets every 2nd & 4th Thursday at 6 pm. Together we are studying Strange New World: How Thinkers and Activists Redefined Identity and Sparked the Sexual Revolution by Carl Trueman. We hope to give all an opportunity to grow in our love for Christ and love for one another; encouraging, praying, and building one another up.

All ages are welcome.

Martzke & De Jong Community Group
Time: Varying Saturdays @ 4:30 pm
Location: Winfield area

This small group meets on varying Fridays and Saturdays. Emphasis will be on fellowship over a simple meal, singing, and prayer time. We hope to give all an opportunity to grow in our love for Christ and love for one another; encouraging, praying, and building one another up.

Thocher Community Group
Time: Ordinarily meets the 1st & 3rd Thursday | 6:00 pm
Location: North Aurora/Sugar Grove

This small group usually meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday at 6:00 pm. Dinner is provided, with the group bringing sides and snacks. Together, we focus on community, fellowship, and prayer with one another.

All ages are welcome; we have a place for children to sleep, play, or read.

LoRusso & Meadows Community Group
Time: 1st & 3rd Thursday | 7:00 pm
Location: Primarily in Carol Stream

This small group meets every 1st and 3rd Thursday at 7 pm. Together, we study and discuss a section of scripture, spend time together in fellowship, and pray together.
